Last week, our first internal hackathon took place as an off-site event in Seewen—and it was a complete success.

Away from our day-to-day business, we were able to develop new ideas, scrutinize processes, and work on concrete improvements. Particularly valuable was the retrospective we held beforehand with our new team members, who brought a fresh perspective and provided important insights for our collaboration.

From the numerous ideas generated, we delved deeper into projects such as automated testing, a public status page, and new analytics features. At the same time, we tested various AI setups and gained a key insight:

👉 The greatest leverage lies not only in the use of AI, but in the standardization of workflows, instructions, and development processes.

Some of the resulting solutions are already being rolled out into regular operations. Others impressively demonstrate how quickly functional prototypes can be developed with AI today.
